John Flynn Sings Wildly Inappropriate Songs

My first one man show opened in the back room of at Don’t Tell Mama’s in September of 2000 with direction by Tom Mills, choreography by James Santos, and with James Santos and Steve Lavner serving as back-up dancers.

The show returned several times of the next year and a half. During that time John DiPinto and Steve Silverstein also subbed as musical directors, and Andrew Gitzy and Went Odom also took on the grueling mantle of back up dancer. (Steve Lavner remains the only person other than myself to have done every performance) Some of my reviews include:

“Do what ever you must, but don’t miss John Flynn’s hysterical ‘Wildly Inappropriate Songs’!”
     - John Hoglund, Backstage

“John Flynn's goofy spoof of show biz is inspired insanity! It's one of the funniest cabaret shows I've ever seen!”
     - Wayman Wong, Daily News

“This man is brilliant, gay, and has very red hair -- the very qualities that made Charlotte Rae a superstar in the late '70s and early '80s. Viva la Flynn!”
     - Jason O’ConneJohn Flynn Gets Reviewedll, Comedian/Actor
